Production I Blog Post # 3

For this week I focused on honing in on a visual style based on our reference material. I painted this digitally using Procreate, I based the background on the documentary I found earlier this month. I wanted to emulate painted textures as seen on Arcane, semi-realism. I wanted to give this piece as much depth and 3-D feel as possible. I want to use this as vis dev for our short. Below are the examples I used to create the painting style for the character and the buildings.

I'm still working on my color script so far, I'm going to fully focus on that this upcoming week. This is what I currently have for Act III
