Production I Blog Post #5

Last week, I was assigned Scene 3 on the shot list for layout. I whiteboxed this main scene, and based on this I will create my 11 shots. I had to figure out the layout and scale of the house the main character resides in.

Based on Bianca's first pass of the house, I also calculated the length, width, and height of the house. I did some research and I found the house is considered a bungalow, so it's a single story. Bungalows also originated in the Bengal region which is interesting. The house is approximately, 8ft tall, 20ft long, and 24 ft wide. I converted it to cm, so it totaled to 243.84 cm x 914.4 cm x 731.52 cm.

Additionally, I got more ambiance and background noise from my dad who is still in Bangladesh right now. I also got some recorded audio from my cousins. I received some iterations from the script, one in English, another in a Bangla-English blend, and another fully in Bangla. We plan on using these in the storyboard.
