Production I Blog Post #7

After the Production Review, I immediately utilized the feedback from the class and the professors regarding our layout animatic. I understand many frames are hard to read because everything is so roughly blocked out, and we also had some issues with timing. I noticed a couple scenes as well as the ending were missing from the animatic which caused the story to be unclear. During the break I spent all my time recreating the animatic, even using sketches and sticky notes for some of the lesser developed scenes. I took much of what the professors said into consideration, certain frames lingered too long and some not enough. This resulted in a "franken-animatic" because I used so many sources just to complete it. As time goes by, I hope that fleshed out scenes will slowly begin to replace the scenes. I also wanted to include some cinematic aspects to our short, I have a vision for some hero shots.

As Production Review #2 drew close, we put together our layout animatic to present. I unfortunately was not present during the presentation. Instead, I created a video tutorial on how we would create our "painted textures"
