Fighter Kites is a senior short film about a young kite fighter. The shadows from passing fighter jets replace those of kites which once freely owned the sky. The girl brings together the other young kite fighters of the village to cast their kites to the sky, not to fight, but rather to divert the pilots away from their beloved village. The girl learns that unity is more powerful than cutting each other’s lines.
